A fascinating tour that can be travelled either by motorcycle or by car, starting from Locarno and leading up to the Capriasca region, where the outstanding Grotthard Café is located in the little village of Oggio, a great spot to stop, grab a bite and take a break. It’s a kind of Rock museum in a very cosy and friendly atmosphere managed by the famous Gotthard guitarist Leo Leoni.

The valleys surrounding Lugano are known for their thick woods and many typical villages, some of which still conserve the fascination and characteristics of the past.  The itinerary is windy but will reward you with some breathtaking views of Lugano and the Ceresio Lake.
