Glacier’s largest lake is a feast for the eyes and a perfect spot to restore or recharge

With a length of about 16 km and a width of approximately 1,5 km, Lake McDonald is the largest of its kind in Glacier National Park, Montana. The picturesque scenic route Going-to-the-Sun Road leads past its southern sore and makes of a fantastic view. On its western side there is a National Park Service visitor center with a hotel and restaurant. That‘s where you can find a traditional hunting lodge which fits perfectly its surroundings and is popular among visitors who love to take pictures of the scenery, User
